Atopy Treatment
What is atopy?
Atopic (Atopy) is derived from the ancient Greek word Atopos. Atpopos means 'strange' or 'abnormal'. Atopic dermatitis is a chronic, recurrent inflammatory skin disease that mainly begins in infancy or childhood. It is accompanied by (itchiness), dry skin, and characteristic eczema. In infancy, it begins as eczema on the face and on the outstretched side of the limbs, but as it grows, it characteristically develops in the form of eczema on the bent area of the arms and the bent area behind the knee. In many cases, it tends to improve naturally as they grow up.In adults, lichenification occurs, which thickens the skin at the folds, and eczema occurs on the face more often than in childhood. There is also a report that the prevalence is 20% of the population.
Causes of atopy
The cause of atopic dermatitis is still unknown.
Because clinical symptoms also appear in various ways such as dry skin and eczema, the cause cannot be explained by just one, but environmental factors, genetic predisposition, immunological reactions, and abnormal skin barrier are considered to be the main causes.
Environmental factors include environmental pollution such as soot due to industrialization, increase in the use of food additives, increase in the use of carpets, beds, and sofas due to Western-style housing, and substances (allergens) ), and so on.
In addition, as more and more pets are kept indoors, exposure to causative substances is also a cause. On the other hand, the fact that atopic dermatitis is genetically affected can be seen from the fact that many patients with atopic dermatitis have a family history.
atopic symptoms
Severe itching (itching), dry skin, and skin lesions are the main symptoms.
Dry skin causes and worsens itching. Itching intermittently during the day and usually gets worse in the early evening or midnight. Scratching with itching causes eczematous skin lesions (pathological changes), and as these lesions progress, the vicious cycle repeats, causing more severe itching.
The distribution and response patterns of skin lesions are somewhat different depending on the age of the patient. In the case of infants, the lesions mainly appear as scabs or scabs, and they appear mainly on the face and head, the body is rough and dry, and often occurs on the outside of the limbs. In children between 2 and 10 years of age, it often appears in the form of dry eczema, which occurs on the folds of the arms and legs and the folds of the neck rather than the face. On the other hand, Asians may develop severe papillary eczema that does not heal well after teenage years.
Atopic dermatitis often improves or disappears with age, but even after improvement, it tends to itch easily or inflammatory reaction occurs due to certain substances or stimuli, and hand eczema often appears in adulthood. If atopic dermatitis remains until adulthood, while the skin symptoms on the body improve, erythema, redness, and eczema tend to appear on the face, and lichenified skin that looks thick due to long scratching of the folds appears.
Even in adulthood, chronic eczema is not the only occurrence, but acute lesions of oozing and crusting over chronic eczema occur repeatedly over a period of time.
itch
Itching that appears throughout atopic dermatitis is the most painful symptom for atopic patients.
erythema, redness, erythema
As the most representative symptom of inflammatory skin disease, it is a measure to determine the degree of inflammation. Red spots are called erythema, redness is when the skin is red on a certain side, and erythema is when the skin is red and swollen.
corneous
If there is a problem in the blood circulation and nutrient supply of skin cells due to the stagnation of capillaries, the skin cells cannot be regenerated normally and are damaged. Keratin can be said to be a graveyard of damaged skin cells caused by blood stagnation.
ooze
The waste products of the human body must be spontaneously discharged through the pores. However, in the case of atopic dermatitis, it is not excreted along with sweat through the normal passage, but as skin cells are destroyed due to skin inflammation, disorders in cells and body fluids directly seep into the skin.
Tae Seon-hwa
Lichenification is a symptom in which the epidermis layer of the skin becomes rough like the bark of a tree and feels thick like the skin of an elephant. It can be said to be a secondary skin symptom caused by repetitive scratching due to itching of the skin, and is commonly seen in chronic atopic dermatitis patients.
pigmentation
Pigmentation is a symptom in which the blood circulation is disturbed, and the color of the subcutaneous blood is oxidized and the color becomes black in the form of bloody blood, or black deposits occur in the process of recovering the inflammation caused by the repeated scratching habit.
white skin disease
It refers to a phenomenon in which a white line is observed when scratching an area with severe erythema. While normal skin turns red when scratched, white dermatosis is a reaction that occurs when blood is stagnant on the skin and when you apply pressure with your hands, the blood is pushed out by the pressure.
honest care
We do not recommend treatment to patients who do not need treatment.
Treatment is decided by prognostic diagnosis, and those with a high probability of natural healing are not treated immediately, but only observed.
We propose an appropriate hair loss treatment plan in consideration of the patient's scalp condition and hair loss progress
Mori's treatment
At Mori Clinic, we are treating hair loss and dermatitis without using steroids.

Treatment to help improve and regenerate the scalp
1) Vaccination treatment
It is common for atopic diseases to heal naturally after passing around the lower grades of elementary school. However, after this period, atopy that remains after middle school or even as an adult is quite intractable.
As such, it has strong autoimmunity and has been under severe mental/physical stress as the immune system has been messed up by various steroid treatments. In adolescents growing up, it can lead to growth disorders and even depression. It is important to induce the normalization of the fundamental immunity without relying on steroids or antibiotics in a similar way to the treatment of scalp inflammation.
It is a treatment method that uses immune complex substances (nucleic acids, growth factors, vitamins, minerals, amino acids, etc.), not steroids, without any harm to the human body and fundamentally improves the skin.
2) Immunotrophic treatment
If you look at actual atopic patients, not only skin diseases, but also They have a lot of mental and physical stress together. Accordingly, the deficiency of minerals is serious.
The treatment effect can be further doubled if the condition is confirmed and improved with a few accurate preliminary tests.
Fluid therapy is a personalized treatment that combines nucleic acids, growth factors, vitamins, minerals, amino acids, liver detoxification, and vitamin effect amplification substances.
It is a method to normalize immunity by suppressing IL-1 and TNF-a, which are representative inflammatory substances in the human body, and raising cortisol without lowering immunity by not using steroids.
3) Regenerative light treatment
It is a treatment that strengthens weakened hair follicles and helps improve and regenerate the scalp by irradiating the entire scalp with a complex wavelength as a principle.
